In order for digitalisation to be successful in the public sector, it is important that a significant cultural shift and change of working practises takes place. It would be naïve to believe that the adaptation to new digital ways of working would happen without the correct guidance and training. Instead, it is essential that the public sector is proactive and engaged with their workforce, helping them to understand the technologies they introduce and teaching them how to optimise these technologies, improving the overall business performance.

To understand just how possible this is, Executive TV’s latest programme, “Digital Transformation: Clients & Consumers meets with three leading businesses in their field with a lot to say about the public sector and how it is meeting demands.

Entec Si is a project management and IT consultancy. They work closely with their clients to achieve the best possible outcomes with an ethos that puts people at the heart of what they do.

Fathom is a user experience (UX) and service design agency. They work with agencies, businesses and organisations to improve performance, both online and offline.

Target Group are a business services provider in lending, investments and insurance, creating value for their clients through digital customer journey, outsourcing and operational transformation.

Together, these three companies offer up valuable insight into digital transformation and how it is changing our lives. Part of their discussion highlights that it is only through successful meaningful partnerships that the public sector will truly grow and develop. A finding that proves while technology is the future, it means very little without people at the fore.

Digital Transformation: Clients & Consumers will be first broadcast on our usual channel, SKY 191, Sunday 29th March at 10.30(am) and then, on Sunday 12th April at 10.30am.

After the initial broadcast, the programme will be available at http://www.executivetv.org/ with the rest of our digital archive.
