The Way Ahead for Renewable Energy

Posted on: 14/07/2023

The move to renewable energy systems and the government’s target of achieving net zero by 2050 is now a major focus across UK industries. It is widely debated as to whether this is achievable in the long run. Progress has been made, but many challenges remain.

Some issues that are still to be addressed include an outdated national grid, intermittency issues, and the excess power needed for infrastructure like electric vehicle charging.

There are different solutions being discussed; one of which is the use of biogas, which not only offers environmental solutions, but business opportunities too.

These are some of the topics discussed in Executive TV’s latest programme “The Way Ahead for Renewable Energy” featuring discussions from leading industry experts.

ALT Group create, develop, and install renewable energy products.
