The Transition to Clean Energy

Posted on: 12/01/2024

The renewable energy sector is one that is experiencing unprecedented growth in the UK and worldwide. Wind and solar have become go-to options for companies looking to offset their carbon emissions and promote a greener environment.

However, with this comes a set of challenges, particularly having to do with the supply chain, inflation and a slow transition to renewables.

Reaching decarbonisation targets is not an overnight feat. The use of renewables like wind and solar is aiding a transitional phase to a low-carbon future, as many companies still rely heavily on diesel and other harmful fuels.

Executive TV will explore challenges the UK renewable sector faces, look at possible solutions to problems and where the sector is headed in “The Transition to Clean Energy” featuring analysis and insight from key industry experts.

Flotation Energy builds and operates offshore wind farms in deep waters, helping generate clean energy.

Noriker Power develops and optimises rapid response flexible power systems which deliver services such as frequency control and stability to the national grid.

World of Solar develops and installs solar panels and provides various energy-saving solutions to clients.

“The Transition to Clean Energy” will first broadcast on SKY Digital 181 on Sunday, 14th January at 10:00 A.M. and again, on Sunday, 11th February at 10:00 A.M.

After the initial broadcast, the programme will be available at with the rest of our digital archive.
