PUTTING PEOPLE FIRST
Posted on: 01/02/2019
The last few years have seen incredible changes to the face of our working environment. With the influx of new technology, businesses around the globe are seizing them with both hands in the hopes that they will increase productivity and maximise return. At Executive TV, the aim of our latest programme in the Digitalisation of the Public Sector series, Putting People First, looks at why this is happening and how these changes affect the people who face them on a day to day basis.
In this programme, we hear from three companies that work in the public sector. Be IT are specialists in recruiting professionals for IT, Digital, Project Management and Leadership jobs. Clear Review are software developers with a high-performance management solution. Sirenum is a workforce management platform that leverages cloud and mobile technology to increase revenue and lower costs. All three companies are dedicated to bringing simple to use technology to front line staff with one affective aim – Putting People First.
Putting People First will be first broadcast on our usual channel, Propeller TV (Sky 185) on Sunday 3rd February at 10.30am, and repeated on Sunday 17th March at 10.30am.
After the initial broadcast, the programme will then be available online at http://www.executivetv.org with the rest of our digital archive.
Digitisation has redefined the way we work. The arrival of first computer systems and then the internet has transformed our daily lives beyond recognition. We see new technologies arriving on a seemingly daily basis and it’s easy to forget that the innovations around us are tools only brought in to help people do their jobs better. In this programme we seek to understand how new technology can better enable our workforce.
