Innovation In Road Infrastructure

Executive TV are pleased to announce Innovation In Infrastructure, a new addition to our series focusing on transportation in the UK. We’re proud to have brought together some major infrastructure experts to discuss the future of our road network and the change we can expect to see in the coming few years.

Roads are the arteries of commerce. Without them goods would sit in warehouses and people would be stuck at home. Even when planes and ships are used, cargo is delivered to them by road. It’s critical that we continue to invest in our road network, but we need to build in a way that engages with local stakeholders and achieves real results for everyone. In this program we’ll explore the whole process from design and consultation through to maintenance and operation.

Innovation In Infrastructure has brought together speakers from some of the leading industry voices. Our contributors are civil engineering consultants David Tucker Associates, curb-side management pioneers GRID and the Road Surface Treatment Association who speak for the road maintenance industry. We’re excited to bring together this range of speakers and discuss the future of our roads.

Innovation In Infrastructure will be first broadcast on our usual channel, Propeller TV (Sky 189) on Sunday 11^th of March at 10.30am, and repeated on Sunday 1^st of April at 10.30am. After the initial broadcast the program will be available online at www.executivetv.org with the rest of our digital archive.
