DIGITAL PLATFORMS
Posted on: 24/05/2019
In recent years, there has been a wealth of change in how consumers interact with technology in our public services. The context within which this digital public services revolution is occurring is the much broader transformation taking place in our personal lives and how we conduct business – driven by a constant stream of digital technology changes, optimised production practices, and flexible delivery models. End users and citizens are the ones benefiting from these the most. As a result, there has been an increased demand to see these same benefits realised in public services as everywhere else. In Digital Platforms, the latest programme in our Digitisation of the Public Sector series, we look at how digitisation is opening new horizons for the public sector by offering new, streamlined and integrated service solutions.
In this programme, we hear from a range of companies who are working with the public sector to provide innovative solutions. Create/change works with product and policy teams to tackle wicked problems through user-centred design, technology and agile delivery. We hear from NGage are recruitment specialists with over 200 years of combined management experience in successfully developing specialist recruitment businesses, and their clients Ritenue and NHS Wales. ServiceNow digitises workflows that create great experiences and unlock productivity for employees and the enterprise. We also hear from Unifii and Cantium Business Solutions, who are approved ServiceNow providers.
Digital Platforms will be the first broadcast on Sky Channel 191 on Sunday 26th May at 10.30am and repeated on Sunday 16th June at 10.30am. After the initial broadcast, the programme will then be available online at http://www.executivetv.org with the rest of our digital archive.
