Executive TV are pleased to announce Building the Future- Constructing Tomorrow. The architecture and construction of today is changing. Not only do we erect more tall buildings, but the materials used in construction has also become more sustainable. The recent innovations in construction have seen a major shift towards off-site manufacturing, more durable and long lasting inclusive designs, as well as the use of more organic and recyclable materials.

This programme looks at some of the most innovative techniques currently used in construction; from the use of wood and carbonated aggregate to reduce CO2 emissions, virtual reality in architectural visualisation, to using recycled rubber and stone for construction of flood preventing pathways and inclusive interior design for the elderly and disabled.

This 30-minute programme features, Lignacite; Baxall Construction; East Sussex County Council; Nicholls & Clarkes; KBI UK; and Cradle Hill School.

Building the Future- Constructing Tomorrow will first broadcast on our usual channel, Propeller TV (Sky channel 189), on Sunday 29th October 2017 at 10:30am, and repeated on Sunday 19th November at 10:30am. After the initial broadcast, the programme will be available online at executivetv.org with the rest of our digital archive.
