A Green (Sustainable) Approach: ‘Sustainability Challenges’
Posted on: 10/12/2022
With the evidence and very real effects of climate change, it is increasingly clear that there is a need for industry to change to more sustainable ways of working, and to use clean energy sources.
Many businesses are responding to this challenge in a positive way, demonstrating a clear and focused commitment to sustainability. There are some complex issues to face, such as the infrastructure necessary for electric vehicles, high installation costs for types of renewable energy technologies, and a lack of government support.
Industry leaders are looking at a mix of renewable energy sources to minimise their carbon footprint and to lessen pollution. Whilst clean energy options such as wind, solar and hydroelectric power have many attractive benefits, it is important to have a balanced approach ensuring the right fit for each sector meeting an organistations individual needs, exploring new technologies in aiding a more sustainable and greener approach.
How we meet these challenges are the subject of Executive TV’s latest programme: “Sustainability Challenges” with expert views and discussion from a number of key industry figures.
