Executive TV are pleased to announce Manufacturing Healthcare. This programme looks at two recent innovations: a modern anaesthesia technique for working with MRI scanners, and sterile packaging methods for preventing cross contamination in hospitals.

In recent years, there has been an evolution in healthcare. With more people living longer than ever before, new diseases being discovered daily, and procedures becoming more complex, it is key for manufacturers to come up with smart ideas to assist the smooth delivery of healthcare.

Adopting new technologies is key to the longevity of our healthcare. New products and devices developed with doctors and patients in mind can become a key assistant in saving one’s life, saving clinicians time and allowing more people to be seen faster, and in a safer environment.

This 30-minute programme features, Penlon Ltd; Westfield Medical; Wirral University Teaching Hospital; and Oxford University Hospital.

Manufacturing Healthcare will first broadcast on our usual channel, Propeller TV (Sky channel 189), on Sunday 30th July at 10am, and repeated on Sunday 27th August at 10am. After the initial broadcast, the programme will be available online at executivetv.org with the rest of our digital archive.
